About us

Food Socks is the brain child of Carl van Blerk. He was recruited by the Creator to show us a way of affordable sustainability towards food insecurity. Not only for ourselves, but also for the less fortunate.

Hannelie's Food Socks was born from the love Hannelie had for her neighbors. She was always putting others first, and helped where she could.

A simple plate of food, at 7o'clock at night, after work, to a lost soul, started a 20year journey of caring, sharing and helping of others.

Hannelie's Food Socks hopes to continue this inspirational gesture, by incorporating the opportunities presented by Carl, with the love for others.
